no eye for customer experience: coke zero served from old bottle without fizz; replacement served in broken glass; waiter poured the drink in a new glass, possibly contaminated with broken glass particles, an absolute no-go. cheap coasters with beer advertising; mayonaise and ketchup served in plastic like in a canteen; food was good, especially the salad.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay at the hotel. Our familyroom was very clean and well equipped. The bathroom was recently renovated. We had half board; breakfastbuffet has plenty of choice, dinner menu is local and tastfull, always with some courses to choose from. The swimmingpool and wellness are very clean and modernised, we enjoyed it a lot. Greatest asset of this hotel are the staff; the staff at the reception were very friendly and helpfull, the staff in the restaurant/bar are friendly and observant. Staff was very accomodating towards our daughter (2y). Ideally located for walking or skiing (1 piste + elevator across the hotel, Feldberg 20minute drive). Correct value for money!

All around perfect location for hiking or snow activities. You can walk out of the hotel and you are in the middle of a perfect hiking location. The rooms are great in general, pretty view, nice beds, quiet. However dont expect the rooms to be huge (even suits are around 25m2). Food has been good for each meal from breakfast to dinner and the staff are all very polite. Spa is also worth it, there are plenty of facilities and they are open from early morning till evening. Bonus points for the pool / billiard table.

Great location, super friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant is very good (IMO). No matter what I chose, it always tasted good. We've stayed at the hotel in April. There are a lot of walking paths. Male sur to check the weather before you go there. You might find some snow (as we did). The rooms could be bigger (if you travel with kids) and the bathroom is a little bit vintage but absolutely clean and functional and comfortable. I personally prefer a shower than a bathtub. But it probably comes down to personal preferences. Would I recommend this place? I don't know if it meets your expectations in the winter time, but I would definitely recommend this place and go back.

I had a great experience at Waldhaus with my family. The moment we came I felt like a princess. The food and wine was good. Also, the gym and spa where perfectly arranged facilities and all so cleans. Besides, the staff was extremely kind and interested in you.

Was there for a wedding. Amazing food. Very friendly and obliging staff. Nice hotel rooms and wellness area. WiFi could be better. Spotty connection and lots of packet loss.
